Bake off for Children in Need 2018
In October, all the students produced their own imaginative designs for a “show stopper” cake. They baked their cakes in the week of Children in Need, and on the Friday they were joined by their parents and carers to assemble, decorate and put the finishing touches to the cakes. Not only were the cakes simply amazing, but we raised money for charity.
Sports Day 2018
In July we held our annual Sports Day, but with a difference! We got permission from Cancer Research to stage a Race for Life event, involving running circuits of the school field, with obstacles and challenges along the way. A lot of them seemed to involve getting wet, which was very welcome on an incredibly hot day. There was a great turn-out of parents and carers, all the boys took part enthusiastically, and much fun was had by all! We also raised funds for a really worthwhile charity.
Residential Trip 2018
In July most of the boys ended the summer term by going to Essex Outdoors for three days, where they slept in tents and had the opportunity to take part in a whole range of outdoor activities, such as archery, climbing, high ropes, mountain biking and more. They had a brilliant time and came back tired but happy!
