Who are we?

Hampden House is a Residential Pupil Referral Unit catering for boys with Special Educational and Behavioural Difficulties.

So why this web site?

We are proud of the work we do, justifiably so, as this extract from our 1998 OfStEd report shows: 

"Hampden House is a highly effective Pupil Referral Unit with many outstanding features. Pupils make good progress in their learning and personal development, and the majority are re-integrated successfully into mainstream school after a relatively short time. There is good support from the Local Education Authority and the schools into which the pupils re-integrate."
